FIX : Swipe unlock disabled by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage

Many users face this issue this happens due to installing certificates from storage or using VPN these require a secure password or pin or pattern lock.

Sometimes users unintentionally install certificates or install apps like survey savvy which needs users to install certificate. Which blocks the swipe to unlock and none as the unlock method.

How to fix this
If you want to use the app which needs the certificate you can't get the options. But if you have unintentionally installed it. Here are the steps to solve it

       

• Go to settings
• And then to security
• Then scroll till you see clear credentials under credential storage.
• Click it

This will clear all the user certificates

And you should get swipe and 'none' as unlock 'options'
